Inspired by the way the flags of three heraldic crosses England, Scotland, and Ireland (now Northern Ireland) combine to form the Union Flag, reflecting how different parts come together to create something shared. The map of the United Kingdom set across the Union Flag highlights how each nation plays its part, bringing us together as one community across the UK.
This T-shirt is a simple, everyday reminder of connection and shared support, bringing us together across communities to stand alongside serving personnel, veterans, and their families, wherever they are in the World.
Why isn’t the Welsh flag included?
The Union Flag’s design dates back to a time when Wales was already united with England, so it is represented within the England element of the flag.

Postage and Taxes outside of the UK:
- If you are ordering from outside the UK the postage cost will be calculated using the delivery country and the weight of the order and calculated at checkout. Unfortunately overseas orders with a weight of over 4kg cannot be placed online.
Items sold by the SSAFA Shop are subject to local taxes and duties.
- Orders shipped outside of the UK may have import taxes added at the point of entry to the delivery country. We are unable to advise on or take responsibility for this cost and the local Tax Office will be able to advise further on these charges. These fees are unfortunately out of control and are not covered by our shipping charges.
